It’s confirmed, actor Kangna Ranaut will move to the hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh — of course, strictly on screen — in Dedh Ishqiya.

“I was bowled over when I saw Ishqiya and when I was offered the sequel, it was as if I was destined to do it. When you really desire something, you usually end up getting it,” says the actor.

For her "very demanding" role in Dedh Ishqiya the actor will undergo intense training. She has to learn to speak in the accent spoken in the interiors of UP since her character belongs to that region.

“I’ll get myself a tutor to help me with my lines,” Kangana shrugs. “But I’m not thinking about that now. The film rolls only mid-next year, so I will start the preparations in March,” she says.

Presently, the actor is focussing on Rakesh Roshan’s film, Krrish 3 that has just flagged off.
