The starcast of the film hasn't been finalised yet, but there are rumours that Shah Rukh Khan has been considered for a pivotal role in the film.

Dhyan Chand was an important part of the Olympic Gold winning Indian hockey team of 1928, 1932 and 1936.

Biopic is the flavor of the season in Bollywood. After Mary Kom, another biopic on Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni is in the making.
