Kareena, Ajay 'high' on Golmaal
The superhit jodi of Omkara and Golmaal Return fame is back with another laughter riot Golmaal 3. The duo speak to Aditi Caroli about the movie, the pranks, and more.
Kareena Kapoor who has been lucky so far with the comic genre, is playing it safe by pairing up with Ajay Devgn, in an attempt to light up the box-office this Diwali.
Says the excited Kareena about Golmaal 3, "Definitely go and watch Golmaal with your family this Diwali. It's a very exciting film. I don't think there is any other film that offers fans a complete package with great songs, good script and full entertainment."
Return of the prankmaster
When there is Ajay Devgn in a movie, and that too a comedy one, his pranks become inevitable on the sets. When asked who was his target this time, Ajay acts innocent and says I didn't play pranks on anyone. But we know from Bebo's expressions that she doesn't agree. Says she, "He is a liar. These guys, Ajay, Tushar and Shreyas, have troubled me a lot."
Stunts were easy this time
What was more challenging entry scene - balancing on bikes (Golmaal and Golmaal Returns) or balancing on vintage dodge cars (Golmaal 3)? Ajay says, "Stunt with bikes was for the first time, so it was more difficult. With time and experience stunts seem easy. That was an earlier stunt so it was more tough."
Bebo copies Shakira?
There were also reports saying that Kareena has shaken a leg like Shakira for the Golmaal 3 title track. But she dismisses it, "It was not inspired by Shakira. I don't know where it came from. I'm inspired just by my choreographer Ganesh. His body is like Shakira( jokes)."
Bebo didn't fast
Kapoor girl didn't keep karva chaut fast for beau Saif Ali Khan. She says, "I'm not fasting because I am not married." Point taken! Kajol also didn't fast, informed Ajay.
Golmaal controversy
Music director of Golmaal, Pritam, had confirmed that Ajay and Kareena didn't shoot for his song Desi Kali. Reason? They didn't like Pritam's composition and felt that it wouldn't give any impetus to the film.
Ajay rubbishes the rumour, "It was all fake. Nothing as such had happened, we also read it in newspaper and had a laugh about it. But promotion jaisa bhi ho, acha hi hota hai."
