Kareena Kapoor finalised for Shuddhi

After a lot of speculations female lead of flick Shuddhi has been finalised and it is going to be Kareena Kapoor opposite Hrithik Roshan. Earlier, speculations were rife over the role being played by Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone or Kareena.

After a lot of speculations female lead of flick Shuddhi has been finalized and it is going to be Kareena Kapoor opposite Hrithik Roshan.



Buzz has it that three actresses were considered for the female lead role in Shuddhi, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were the other two who finally lost it to Kareena this time.



Rumours also suggest that Bebo did not make any commitments whatsoever and wants to give as much time as possible to 'Shuddhi' because she feels the movie will become a milestone in her career.

Shuddhi: Will Kareena Kapoor play the lead opposite Hrithik Roshan?

Filmmaker Karan Malhotra, who is gearing up for his second film Shuddhi, says the leading lady for the film is not yet finalised. However, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor has been roped in for the project opposite Hrithik Roshan. "The leading lady of the film is not yet finalised.



So far it is only Hrithik Roshan who has been finalised. I can't talk much about whether Kareena is in the film as long as Karan (Johar) doesn't make an official announcement," said Karan Malhotra. READ ON



Agneepath team reunites for Shuddhi

The team of 2012 remake Agneepath - actor Hrithik Roshan, producer Karan Johar and director Karan Malhotra - has reunited for a new project titled Shuddhi. It is likely to hit the screens in 2014. "Hrithik Roshan has given the nod for my film Shuddhi," Malhotra told IANS. "It is a complete high voltage film. Its my kind of project, so there will be lot of action and drama in the film," he added. The screenplay has been written by Malhotra's wife Ekta.
