The last time we asked Saif Ali Khan if he has any intentions of sharing screen space with wife Kareena Kapoor (in an article published in HT Café on April 20, 2013), he said "there are no such plans".
The actor went on to elaborate that he’d rather see his wife working with other actors. "I love seeing Kareena working with other heroes... And I look forward to working with other girls." Later, reportedly, Kareena went on to express the same sentiment, saying, "I don’t think Saif believes that we’ll look good in a film together! He's busy with his leading ladies."
However, the couple that married last October have apparently had a change of heart since. According to sources, Kareena might now be a part of Saif’s upcoming rom-com, Happy Ending (produced by Saif and Dinesh Vijan).
"Kareena has a special appearance. The makers are tight-lipped about it as they are still contemplating if she will do a significant scene, or just a song with Saif. The three-day shoot will take place in USA. They will keep the shoot closely guarded, as they don’t want any pictures leaking out." In the past, Saif and Kareena have worked together in LOC Kargil (2003), Tashan (2008), Kurbaan (2009) and Agent Vinod (2012).
The couple left for the US over four weeks ago. After a brief vacation, Saif has shot for the film in Los Angeles, among other cities. The film is to be directed by Raj Nidimoru-Krishna DK (the duo that made Go Goa Gone), and stars Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead. We tried reaching Dinesh, DK and Saif, but they were unavailable for comment at the time this report was filed.
