It’s never too late to do something good, or so believes Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor, who will be visiting Kashmir in May for the shoot of her next film, has decided to contribute `5 lakh to the relief funds that were set up in Jammu and Kashmir after torrential rainfall resulted in disastrous floods across several districts of the state in September 2014.
“Kareena will be making her way to Kashmir in April-end to start shooting for Kabir Khan’s next, which also stars actor Salman Khan. She has been wishing to do her bit for the state ever since it was affected by the flood. Hence, she has decided to donate money to the flood relief funds,” says a source.
“In fact, she will also be visiting a few relief camps to check the situation there and meet the flood victims there,” adds the source.
This is the first time that Kareena will be visiting the valley for a film shoot. She’s be there till the beginning May. While the actor remained unavailable for comment, her spokesperson confirmed the news.
