Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan waves at his fans.

He’s always seen in the stands cheering for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders on. They even won the tournament back in 2012. But this year, team owner Shah Rukh Khan won’t be able to attend all the matches that his team plays.

A source close to the actor reveals, "He has to finish the shooting of film-maker Farah Khan’s next directorial. He always gives his work priority over everything else."

The actor also could not attend the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday (April 22) due to prior commitments.

The source also adds that SRK won’t reschedule his prior appointments to watch the matches in the UAE.

"However, he will surely travel if his schedule is open or if he has a free day," the insider says, adding that even though he is not physically present to support his team, Shah Rukh is keeping a close tab on its performance.
