Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has tweeted the first look of his next film Kill Dil. Directed by Shaad Ali, the film will also feature Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Fazal in important roles. The film's title is inspired by Quentin Tarantion's cult-classic Kill Bill.

The first poster of the film consists of a neon-green background, and features Ranveer in denim and leather jacket. A gun and a naughty smirk on his face give a twist to it, but the audience will be exposed to Kill Dil's storyline on November 14 only when it will hit the screens.

The poster suggests that the film is going to be a light-hearted love story with semi-metropolitan background. Ranveer Singh's dressing sense hints towards the middle class background of his character.

In a very short span, Ranveer Singh has become a good investment for Bollywood producers. He has only five films to his credit as a lead actor, but he is constantly bagging good projects. And, now it's up to him to prove his credentials again with Kill Dil.

Bollywood's unexpected star

The business part of Kill Dil would be bothering Shaad Ali as well. Shaad Ali, Muzaffar Ali's son, entered into direction with a bang. His first directorial venture Saathiya (2002) emerged victorious at the ticket window. He went on to make another hit film Bunty Aur Babli (2005), but his luck fizzled out in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007). He is yet to come up with a film since then. Interestingly, he assisted ace director Mani Ratnam in Raavan (2007) after directing three full length feature films. Now, Shaad Ali would have been looking for his share in Ranveer's luck.

Kill Dil also marks the return of Ranveer-Parineeti pair, who were earlier seen in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl (2011).
