Lauren Gottlieb to judge another dance reality show, now for the web

Actor Lauren Gottlieb, who started her showbiz career as a participant on a US dance-reality show, will now be judging one for a web series.

Actor and choreographer Lauren Gottlieb says it’s flattering to be considered credible enough to be put on a pedestal to find talent and judge them.

For American actor and choreographer Lauren Gottlieb, dance has been an integral part of her showbiz journey. She got noticed as a contestant on an international dance-based reality show. Then, she participated in Indian celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, where she was roped in an a judge for another season. And as fate would have it, Lauren is judging yet another dance-based reality show, only this time it’s a web series.

The participants are expected to send in their videos. Those shortlisted will be called for auditions, and the ones selected will become participants on the web show. “It’s flattering to be considered credible enough to be put on a pedestal to find talent and judge them. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing some amazing talent on this show,” says Lauren, who has also acted in dance films, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013) and its sequel directed by choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’Souza, and in Vashu Bhagnani’s film, Welcome To Karachi (2015).

The 27-year-old has often said that destiny brought her to India, and she has since been enjoying every moment of her professional life in the country. “I got an e-mail from the makers of ABCD that they want me for the film. Next thing I know, I was doing the film. I have always wanted to act and dance. Bollywood is a place where I can do both. So, I feel this is my destiny,” says Lauren.
