Life on screen: Rajinikanth’s family to make a biopic on him

Rajinikanth’s biopic will focus on the well-known as well as the undisclosed aspects of the superstar’s life.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s family is set to make a biopic on his life. According to sources close to the family, it’s an idea the family has lived closely with for many years. But now when Rajinikanth’s new release Kabali has placed him on a pedestal way above anything in the past, plans to film his rise from a bus conductor to demi-God are gaining momentum all over again.

Confirming this development Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya says, “Yes, we are planning a film on my father’s life.My sister Aishwarya is writing a book on dad.The film seems a natural progression from there.”

She adds: “The thought of making a film on dad has been haunting us. His life is inspirational for so many people.”

Actor Rajinikanth’s family is planning to make a film on the book his elder daughter Aishwarya is writing.

The film will focus on well-known facts as well as undisclosed aspects of Rajinikanth’s life. “There are certain areas of his life that no one knows about.We want to put that also in the film.As a daughter and his devoted fan, I love watching him on screen. And would love to see a film on him,” says Soundarya.
