London terror attacks: Parineeti Chopra, Sonam Kapoor and other celebs pray for peace

Terrorists struck at the heart of London on Saturday night, killing six people in a series of vehicle and knife attacks before police shot them dead. Hollywood and Bollywood actors and other celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor, Ali Fazal, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, have expressed their grief on social media.

Bollywood celebs Parineeti Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Vishal Dadlani, Ali Fazal; international singers Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas; Hollywood actors Mandy Moore and Debra Messing, among others, have sending their prayers to people of London after the two terror attacks killed six people and injured 30 others.

Terrorists struck at the heart of London on Saturday night, killing six people in a series of vehicle and knife attacks before police shot them dead, authorities said.The attacks that took place at London Bridge and Borough Market comes just days ahead of the general election on June 8.

Bollywood actor-singer Parineeti tweeted, “The simplest way to put it! Cannot believe the world is attacked so often. Praying for peace!!!! #LondonAttacks.”

Sonam Kapoor shared a video on her Twitter page.

After sharing a news article on the attacks, Ali Fazal tweeted, “Not again... God no.”

Actor Richa Chadha worte, “#LondonAttacks are so cowardly and clumsy. ISIS getting desperate. Condolences to lives lost. when will this madness end?”

Musician Vishal Dadlani tweeted, “It’s truly horrific, what humankind has made of our world. #London, stay strong. Don’t let hatred win.”

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri wrote, “Even I am don’t believe in Islamic terror. But what do I do when I see ‘Allahism’ of terror? London, I feel your pain. #LondonBridge”

Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani tweeted, “Another shocking & disturbing attack in London.Some serious measures need to be taken to stop this. Prayers for the victims. #LondonAttacks.”

International singer Ariana Grande, whose recent Manchester concert was the site of a terrorist attack, tweeted, “Praying for London.”

Demi Lovato tweeted, “Praying for London.”

Mandy Moore wrote, “Our hearts are with you #London.” Messing similarly expressed, “PRAYING for #London.”

Bette Midler shared, “More sorrow and grief at the hands of madmen in London. Men and religion are worthless.”

Elijah Wood exclaimed, “Oh, London. My heart is with you.”

“Wishing for everyone’s safety. Got mad love for people of London. Thank you my dear family & friends for your love and concern. #LondonBridge” added Rosie Perez.

And British model Cara Delevingne wrote, “My heart is with you London. Please can everyone stay safe. This is beyond tragic but we must stand together and not let this break us.”

Paris Hilton used the hashtag, “PrayForLondon.”

Bella Thorne tweeted, “I’m sorry to everyone in London. the world is so scary #PrayForLondon.”

And Emilie de Ravin shared, “Terrible news…Thoughts & prayers with everyone affected and harmed by the #LondonAttack #LondonBridge #BoroughMarket.”

John Mayer wrote, “Walking to stage, sending all my love to London with every note I play tonight.”

Music mogul Simon Cowell tweeted, “Thoughts are with innocent victims caught up in London Bridge incident. Please try to stay safe people.”

Khloe Kardashian expressed, “Our world is so dark and scary at the moment. Please say your prayers!! Try to be kind and loving! Love will always win! #PrayForLondon”.
