Apparently, Bhushan Kumar is upset with Kangna Ranaut for leaving the shoot of his film, I Love NY in a lurch for three days. Rumour has it that the actor flew to London to wrap up Ratan Jain’s Tezz, and that too after Kumar had categorically denied her permission to do so.

Jain had reportedly approached Kumar to let Kangna off for a day, but since she and Sunny Deol were leaving for Toronto for the IIFA Awards on Sunday and the shoot had to be finished before that, he could not oblige. However, Ranaut denies it all. “Nobody is upset with me. Bhushan ji is a friend and when Ratan ji asked him for my dates, he gave them. I’m a responsible person and would never keep a set standing without prior permission,” she retorts.

She points out that the action-drama revolves around four pivotal characters played by Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan and Sameera Reddy. "I’m Ajay’s love interest and though my character is significant to the story, it’s not long in terms of footage," she says. "To see more of me, you can catch Double Dhamaal, Rascals and I Love NY."

The latter was earlier titled Happy New Year, but Shah Rukh Khan, who owns the title, refused to part with it. Seems like Farah Khan was supposed to direct the film for his banner, Red Chillies, but she is busy with other movies and has put this one on the back burner. The RA.One actor didn’t seem like he wanted to gift it to the directors of the Kangna-Sunny Deol starrer — Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao — who flagged off their career with Salman Khan’s Lucky—No Time For Love (2005).

Kangna, however, feels I Love NY is a more apt title for the love story. “It’s far more appealing and the little hearts in the logo work well. I’m looking forward to this movie. My fans love seeing me in love stories,” she smiles.

What does love mean to her today? There’s a thoughtful pause, followed by a laugh, “That’s a rather profound question. I’ve been in relationships and have my family and friends who care for me, so I’ve had my share of it. I’m not dying to be in love, but I’m not denying it either. Love is all around me, I can feel it, without thinking about it 24 x 7.”
