Highlight Story

Madhavan will not be an idiot again! The actor has turned down the offer to repeat his role in the Tollywood version of 3 Idiots along with Vijay, Silambarasan, and Mahesh Babu.

"So sorry folks! It’s final and confirmed. I am unfortunately unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu. I am really sorry about that", tweets Madhavan.

Buzz is that the actor did not want to kill the novelty of his character by doing a remake. However, the actor's reason for refusal is his prior commitment to work.

We are not surprised. Post the success of 3 Idiots, the actor has signed a lot of Hindi films including Abbas Tyrewala’s Jhootha hee Sahi, previously titled as 1-800-Love.

MadhavanApart from this, the actor will be seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in Anand Rai's comedy Tanu weds Manu. His other Hindi film Sunglasses opposite Konkana Sen Sharma is a family entertainer. Maddy will also be making a comeback to Kollywood in Kamal Haasan starrer Manmadhan Ambu.

Currently, he is also busy hosting a quiz game show, Big Money — Chota Parda Bada Game.

Maddy finally is making inroads in Bollywood and in a big way.
