Flight attendant flirts with Sidharth Malhotra
The Student Of The Year actor Sidharth Malhotra was surprisingly — since he’s only one-film old — recognised by a flight attendant on the plane to Marrakech, where he was going to attend the 12th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival.
All through his nine-hour flight from Dubai to Casablanca, the airhostess hit on him a number of times. She suggested places and spas that he should visit and also said she wished she could stay back for a day in Marrakech so she could take him out for coffee.
Hrithik hounded by international media
It was Hrithik Roshan’s second visit to an international film festival after Cannes and seeing an opportunity, members of the international media tried meeting the actor.
He was flabbergasted by such demands, but couldn’t attend to everyone, since he though it would tire him out. So Hrithik spoke to only a few selected international reporters but showered special attention on the Indian media contingent.
Hrithik was one of the most sought after actors at Marrakech since four of his films are to be screened at the festival. The films are being shown on a makeshift screen put up specially in the main square of the city.
“I am amazed to see that hordes of people have gathered to watch the films on the big screen and they don’t mind standing all through the movie,” says Hrithik, who was styled by Akshaye Tyagi.
Starting with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), his other hits like Agneepath, Jodhaa Akbar (2008) and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), are on the agenda.
Tabu’s under the radar
Tabu was among the delegates from India at the festival, and got the least attention from the media, both desi and international. Perhaps it was because she kept quiet — the media only caught a few glimpses of her here and there.
The writer was at the Marrakech Film Festival by invitation.
