Bollywood actors may be tight-lipped about their relationships in real life, but they are ready to romance on screen. Here's a list of such actors who are ready to take their real romance to reel.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who have worked together in Rajneeti (2010) and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), will be seen in Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos, next. The buzz of their relationship will help their film, says film distributor Rajesh Thadani. “It will help in getting the opening figures,” he says. Meanwhile, Ranbir, who is living in with Kat, has been quoted as saying, “I value her stardom.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. There has also been speculation that the two will tie the knot in February next year, however both their spokespersons have denied the news. All this adds to the news of their upcoming film, says trade analyst Atul Mohtan. “There is a curiosity element attached to a film if it features a real life couple. But finally, the story does matter,” he says.
As they get ready to tie the knot soon, reports claim that actor Shahid Kapoor and Delhi girl Mira Rajput have been offered many joint endorsements. “Shahid’s team has been getting a lot of offers from companies who want him to endorse their products along with Mira. There are also reports that companies are offering Shahid double the amount if Mira also makes an appearance,” a source was quoted as saying earlier.
There have been many reports about actors Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt dating each other. While they have not publicly spoken about their relationship, rumour suggests that the two are inseparable on the sets of their film, Kapoor and Sons. “Alia Bhatt was my first co-star. Everything might change, but that won’t and it’s special. Now, we are working again, three years after Student of the Year (2012),” Sidharth told us.
