DAY 7

1 New film in the making
Right after the open forum discussions were done, Zoya Akhtar, Christian Jeune, and a mutual friend shared a meal at NCPA Café. Christian was curious about Zoya’s films, and asked her for DVDs because he was really keen to watch them. He also asked her what she’s working on now, and was told that she’s is currently in the process of writing a script. Well, let’s wait and watch!

2 An appearance without a fashion faux pas!
We spotted Sonali Kulkari after ages at the film festival. In the company of Girish Kulkarni, she was there for the screening of the film Pune 52. The actor, who’s from Pune herself, was naturally very excited about this film. What excited us, though, was seeing Sonali Kulkarni well-dressed! The actor is notorious for her fashion faux pas. It was lovely to see her in a yellow dress and minimal make-up. In fact, she looked radiant.

3 Delightful cinema
Films at MFF a certainly are delight to watch. For lovers of world cinema, the festival’s like a boon. And at the screening of the movie Augustine, cinegoers were in for a treat. Everyone who watched the film came out with a smile on their face and only good things to say about it. The film’s leading lady, who was present at the fest, was naturally more than thrilled by the response.
