Actor Paresh Rawal, who is known for his versatility as an actor, wants his role in movies to be well written. “I like all kinds of cinema, be it comedy, dark, positive or futuristic. But my role should be well written and it should be exciting enough for me,” says Paresh, 55.

Ask him about the changes in the present film industry as compared to that of the Bollywood of the 1990’s, and he says, “Work ethics have changed. There is a bound script, which is one of the major changes that can be seen today. Novel ideas can also be seen, as new writers and directors are making their way in the industry.”

Currently, Paresh is earning good reviews for his role in his latest film — Table No. 21, which hit the screens last Friday. In the thriller flick, the actor is seen playing the role of a resort owner at Fiji Islands. Things take an interesting turn when he accidentally invites a couple to play a game where they have the chance to win Rs 21 crore.
