Amy admires Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s work, and has always wanted to work with him. When she was offered to do a film with him, she instantly agreed to do it.

Ever since they started shooting for their upcoming film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amy Jackson have been spending a lot of time together. The film is being directed by Sohail Khan.

Both the actors are also attending the Cannes Film Festival this year for different events. Now, Nawaz, whose film (directed by Anurag Kashyap) is premiering at the festival on May 16, has invited Amy to attend the same.

Earlier, Amy was going to leave for the festival on May 17, but now, she will reach Cannes a day earlier to support her co-star. The source adds, “Amy admires Nawaz’s work, and has always wanted to work with him. When she was offered to do a film with him, she had instantly agreed to do it.” Amy apparently bonded with Nawaz over cinema, and also learnt a lot about theatre from him. Amy has planned her wardrobe carefully for the French Riveria and plans to take some risks for this opportunity.

Amy will be walking the red carpet at Cannes for the first time. She will also attend a luncheon hosted by the British Film Institute, UK, where she will speak about her acting career. Later, Amy is scheduled to attend an annual gala to raise funds for Syrian refugees.

We tried contacting Amy, but she remained unavailable for a comment.
