Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a regular at film festivals. His movies have been screened at France’s Cannes Film Festival, Canada’s Toronto International Film Festival, and Germany’s Berlin International Film Festival in the past. This time, the actor will be heading to Australia to be part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Nawaz will attend the screening of his last release, Raman Raghav 2.0, which was based on the life of the notorious serial killer Raman Raghav.
A source says, “Nawaz was delighted when he was asked to be part of the festival, especially because he would also get to meet Australian film-makers and cinema students there. He is expected to talk about the Anurag Kashyap directorial at the event.”
Nawaz has decided to push all his commitments to accommodate this special screening, which will be held on August 12.
The Bollywood actor will also have a discussion with the audience post the screening. Anurag will be joining Nawaz during his two-day visit to the festival. We tried reaching Nawaz, but he remained unavailable for a comment.
