National Award- winning actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will feature in his brother Shamaas Nawab Siddiqui’s directorial debut, which is tentatively titled Ganna, Gehu Aur Gun. Nawaz, appreciated in films like Kahaani (2012) and Gangs Of Wasseypur, says he will take a two-month break before facing the camera for his sibling’s project.
“My brother is all set to direct his first film and it is tentatively titled as Ganna, Gehu Aur Gun. I am looking forward to being a part of the film. Let’s see how he casts me in it,” says the actor.
Nawaz adds that the movie will revolve around a crime, and the story will be based in Uttar Pradesh. Shamaas has earlier directed a few episodes of the TV series Crime Patrol. “He has a fair idea on crime-based subjects. He wants to explore that zone on a commercial level,” adds Nawaz. Ganna, Gehu Aur Gun will go on floors by the end of this year.
