While Ranbir Kapoor attempts a new avatar with Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam, Pallavi Sharda doesn't look too promising in her first film as the lead heroine. ...

Abhinav Kashyap's second directorial venture seems reminiscent of his first one -  Dabangg - with similarly loud Babli (Ranbir Kapoor).

Known for playing mostly romantic roles, Neetu Singh will now be seen in a completely new avatar. In her upcoming film, Besharam, the yesteryear actor will perform some action scenes as well.

A source informs, “Singh stepped out of her comfort zone for the role of head constable Bulbul Chautala. The film has a lot of action sequences. Most of these required her to use a gun. She was very comfortable doing all these scenes."

At a recent press conference held at the music launch of the film, Ranbir Kaporr had remarked, “My mom is a surprise package in the film."

When asked about Singh’s action scenes in the film,  director Abhinav Singh Kashyap too is all praises for the actor. “Yes,  it’s true, she’s doing a lot of action in the film and she will surprise a lot of people with it.”

Singh stars alongside husband, actor Rishi Kapoor, in this film. This is the first time that the husband-wife are sharing screen space with their son Ranbir, who plays the lead in the film.

In the past, Singh made cameo appearances in Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). She also received critical acclaim for her role in Do Dooni Chaar (2010).
