Ranveer Singh's handlebar moustache is a thing of past now. The actor who was quite fond of his mooch has changed the look apparently for his upcoming Shaad Ali film, Kill Dill.

Gone are the long hair, beard and, of course, the mooch, which Ranveer sported in Ram-leela.

Ranveer attended the wrap-up bash of his Ram-leela co-star Deepika Padukone's upcoming film, Finding Fanny, sporting the new look. The film pairs Dippy with Farhan Akhar.

A pic is doing the rounds on the micro-blogging site Twitter, which shows Arjun Kapoor and director Ali Abbas Zafar shaving off Ranveer's much-loved moustache.

Ranveer has talked about his mooch love on a couple of occasions.

"Growing it was such a big thing, so I guess removing it will be another event," Ranveer had told a tabloid earlier.

"I would have grown my hair long and kept a similar beard if I wasn't playing (different) characters in my profession. That's how I would have been in my personal life. I'm very attached to my moustache, I love twirling it," the actor told Hindustan Times on another occasion.

The actor will be seen clean shaven in Shaad Ali's action flick Kill Dill, which also stars Parineeti Chopra.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film will also star Ali Zafar, Govinda and Rani Mukerji in prominent roles. Kill Dill is a film about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim of love.
