The fact that Shah Rukh Khan has fans in every corner of the world is not news. But now the actor will reach them all on the same day as his next film Chennai Express will release in India, on August 9. For the first time, along with non-traditional markets such as Morocco, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Israel, the Rohit Shetty film will release on the same day in Peru.

“In the past, My Name Is Khan (2010) and Guzaarish (2010) had delayed releases in Peru,” says an insider from the production. Confirming this development Amrita Pandey says on behalf of the film’s production house,“Chennai Express is a mass entertainer and a big movie for us. Shah Rukh Khan has a strong fan base and the demand for the movie is enormous overseas. We are releasing the movie in more than seven non-traditional markets.”
