On losing eight kilos
I lost a lot of weight, thanks to Madhuri Dixit. She inspired me by saying, ‘you’re a pretty girl but if you lose weight, you’ll look even better’.

On new projects
I have a release almost every month. My upcoming projects are Haat — The Weekly Bazaar, My Friend Pinto, and a Hollywood film.

On the secrecy around her hollywood film
It’s a mainstream Hollywood film. I can’t talk more about it as I am under contract.

Divya DuttaOn rumours that Monica is based on Niira Radia’s life

You will see shades of lots of people you’ve read or heard about in my character. There is a telecom scam in the film but it is not as recent as Niira Radia’s.

On her role in the film
Monica was a very difficult character to understand. There are so many shades to her. To portray her was a tough job. I’ve had sleepless nights because of it.

On her five looks in the film
I have five different avatars in the film with an age span of 20 years - from a school girl with two plaits to a woman who is on the run and cuts off her hair.
