Salman Khan is known to introduce new faces to Bollywood, and especially foreign beauties. That’s why news reports of Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete starring opposite him in Partner 2 didn’t come as a huge surprise. The Mexican beauty queen, however, is completely unaware of her ‘so-called’ B-Town debut.

“No, I am not acting in Partner 2. I don’t know where such talks came from. First of all, I have to learn Hindi and then, maybe I can try my hand in Bollywood,” says Ximena, adding that she has to go step by step. “If I learn how to act, then only I can think about it.”

Ask Ximena about Barbara Mori, another face from her part of the world, and she smiles: “Besides being beautiful, she is a superb actress. I’m not as talented as her, when it comes to acting. She is really famous in Mexico.”

The earlier mentioned news reports further suggested that Ximena fit the part in David Dhawan’s film perfectly and for the same, she had even started taking Hindi lessons. Designer Sanjana Jon was apparently supposed to design Ximena’s costume and also played an instrumental part in making the collaboration happen.

But the Mexican stunner isn’t thinking of films right now. “I’m too busy with various activities that come with the Miss Universe title,” she says.

Ximena, who met the Dabangg actor on her recent trip to India, was all praise for him. “I would love to work with Salman. He is a wonderful person and I know he’s the best in India. Despite being a huge star, he is hospitable and has a good heart. He has a lot of star power and nothing can be better than using it to help others. And he is doing exactly that with his charitable work,” says the beauty queen, who recently watched Shahid Kapoor-Genelia D’Souza starrer Chance Pe Dance and was amazed by the talent in Bollywood.

“Actors have to sing (lip sync), dance and act in Bollywood films! And that’s a lot,” says Ximena, who has also been appointed the new L’Oreal face.
