Puri Jagannath, Director of Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap is in love with the character played by Mr Bachchan and has decided to make the film a franchise. The director wants Big B in all the films of the series and has even proposed this idea to Mr Bachchan.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "When Puri wrote Bbuddah, he never thought about the future. He was only taken up with the task of creating an interesting character for Mr Bachchan, but as the film progressed he fell in love with the character and decided to carry it forward."

AmitabhWhen contacted, Jagannath told the tabloid, "Yes, I've received innumerable messages and phone calls asking me to make another film with Big B's Buddha's character. I think a Bbuddah franchise is a wonderful idea. I'm working on it."

Initially, Big B did not take the suggestion too seriously, but later he said, "I'll leave the decisions entirely to Puri."

Director has also decided to cast Sonu Sood as Mr Bachchan's son again. He said, "Sonu Sood looks uncannily like the angry, young cop in Zanjeer. He was chosen to play Mr Bachchan's son over Abhishek because of the novelty value. And so, his role will remain in the franchise."
