Things turned sour for Sanjay Leela Bhansali when Rajput Karni Sena protested against the director and his film Padmavati and since then, the makers have been trying their best to clarify that there’s no sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji in the flick.

The team has now issued a clarification on Twitter and has even started a new hashtag which reads #NoSceneBetweenRaniPadmavatiAndAlauddinKhilji.

The Rajput caste organization, Rajput Karni Sena, had opposed and hauled shooting of Padmavati at Jaigarh Fort near Jaipur, alleging distortion of historical facts by the filmmaker.

The film has Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
