She plays a firebrand in Ishaqzaade. And Parineeti Chopra’s fiesty avatar, Zoya,  has got a fan from an unexpected quarter — Rajasthan University’s (RU) president Prabha Choudhary. In fact, the first-ever woman head of RU has invited Parineeti — who plays a student leader in the action-romance — to come over to Jaipur for a meeting. Parineeti has accepted the invitation and will fly to the Pink City on May 4.

“Prabha was keen on meeting Parineeti personally and sent her an invite through a social networking site. Parineeti was pleasantly surprised and immediately agreed to drop by when  she visits Jaipur for the promotions of her upcoming film,” says an insider close to Priyanka Chopra’s cousin. When contacted, Parineeti confirmed the news: “I am excited about meeting Prabha. Let’s see how things go.”

Prabha, on her part, is bowled over by Parineeti’s character on screen. “From the trailers, I can see that Parineeti plays a daredevil character in the film. She too comes from a small town, just like me and since the film revolves around power struggle, there is a close similarity there too. I am glad that she has agreed to meet me,” says the student leader.
