Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane has recently been in news for her rumoured closeness to actor Ranbir Kapoor. However, the actor denies these rumours. “There is nothing for me to say about this as nothing I say will be enough to put these rumours to rest. People who are close to me know the truth so I don’t need to clear the air,” she says.

Meanwhile, the actor who made her Bollywood debut this year with her film Sanam Teri Kasam, is also seen on a Pakistani show Main Bushra. The actor says that she is open to Bollywood films, but would like to stay away from Indian television shows. “I feel that dramas dominate in Pakistan and films dominate in India, which is why I want to be part of films here. It’s not like I don’t find Indian TV shows interesting, I have grown up watching some of them. But I am not open to working in one of them as of now,” she says.

However, the actor insists that there is nothing in Indian television shows which need to be changed. “The shows are very different from dramas in Pakistan and there is nothing wrong in that. I don’t think we need to change them as there are so many people who enjoy this format as well. If we try to fix the number of episodes in Indian TV shows, like we have in Pakistani dramas, they might lose their charm,” she says.
