Taapsee Pannu was last seen on the big screen in Pink. The actor garnered appreciation for her performance in the movie by audiences as well as critics. But, apart from being praised, the film has opened up new avenues for Taapsee.

A source says, “Last year, two of Taapsee’s films, Makhna and Runningshaadi.com, were stalled. However, after the success of her latest release, those projects have been revived. She has also bagged two more commercial films, apart from Naam Shabana.”

Taapsee will apparently have five releases next year. The Chashme Baddoor (2013) actor is grateful for the feedback she has received for Pink. “It certainly moved things in a positive direction,” says the actor. When asked if her unreleased projects have seen the light of day now, Taapsee says, “There are several special films that are due for release.”

She adds that in every actor’s career, there are projects that change the course of things. “My latest release has brought them (her unreleased films) to the forefront. I am glad for the opportunities I have received,” she says.

Taapsee says she did not “anticipate” that things would work out the way they did. “I feel humbled when people write to me and hold me responsible for bringing about a change in the minutest way possible through a role,” she says, adding, “I hope I can continue to live up to people’s expectations and all those who have instilled faith in me.”
