PK row: Court issues notices to Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani

The court issued notices to Aamir, director of the film Rajkumar Hirani, scriptwriter Abhijat Joshi, Madhya Pradesh government and former chairman of CBFC Leela Samson.
The district court in Indore on Friday issued notices to Bollywood star Aamir Khan and four others on a review petition alleging that his superhit film PK hurt religious sentiments. Additional sessions judge B S Rawat issued notices to Aamir, director of the film Rajkumar Hirani, scriptwriter Abhijat Joshi, Madhya Pradesh government and former chairman of CBFC Leela Samson while hearing the petition of Lalji Gaur.
The next hearing is slated for November 16. Gaur’s petition seeking criminal action against Aamir and others had been dismissed by the judicial magistrate on September 23, which he has now challenged, said his lawyer Mukesh Deval.
