Puri Jagannath, the director of the film on which Salman Khan's money-spinner Wanted was based, is making his Bollywood debut with an action film. He has signed South star Rana Dagubatti for the lead role.

This is Rana’s second Bollywood film after Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum.

The director's blockbuster Pokiri too was an out-and-out action film.

Puri confirms to Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, I am directing a Hindi film, which will also be made in Telugu. I have signed Rana as the lead actor. The actress has to be yet finalised. The movie will be going on floors next month.”

Sounds like an exciting venture!
