Pooja Bhatt is delighted to be celebrating 20 years of Border, with the film’s cast next month

JP Dutta’s war drama, Border(1997), completes 20 years next month. To mark the occasion, the makers are having a reunion bash on June 11, that will see actors Pooja Bhatt, Suniel Shetty, composer Anu Malik, among others, in attendance.

JP Dutta’s war drama Border(1997) will be etched in audiences’ hearts forever for it’s direction, dialogues and stellar performance by the cast that included actors Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff and Pooja Bhatt, among others. As the film completes 20 years next month, the makers have decided to mark the occasion with a reunion and the cast is brimming with excitement.

Sharing her enthusiasm about the bash and thanking the director for making her part of the film that has the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration to its credit, Pooja posted a picture with director JP Dutta and the film’s composer Anu Malik, on Instagram on Tuesday morning.

Pooja also posted a message along with the picture that read: “Now this is the only #BORDER I never want erased! Delighted to soon be celebrating #20yrs of BORDER with the cast & crew! Thank you J.P Dutta for making me part of this extraordinary journey! #filmmaking #filmmakinglife #celebrationtime #milestones #JPDutta #JPDuttafilms.”

The reunion set to take place on June 11, will take the cast down memory lane by showcasing unseen and behind-the-scenes footage from the film,reported Mid Day . Actor Suniel Shetty, also shared his enthusiasm about the bash. “The film gave me a chance to wear Indian army fatigues. I still get goosebumps when I think of the film. It will be amazing to meet everyone again,” he told Mid Day. The venue for the bash is yet to be closed.
