Rahul Bose unveiled the first trailer of his first production venture, Poorna, on Thursday. Rahul, who has also directed the film, shared the trailer on social media.

Poorna is based on the real-life story of 13-year-old Poorna, the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest.

Rahul Bose returns to direction 15 years after Everybody Says I’m Fine for Poorna. Aditi Inamdar, a Telangana girl from an impoverished family, was chosen after auditioning 109 girls, including a few tribals, to bring Poorna’s superhuman feat to screen.

Rahul bought the rights of the story from Poorna’s father Dr RS Praveen Kumar. The film is slated to release on March 31.

The movie will also highlight gender equality and take you through mesmerising locations. The underlying message of the film is that if you believe in something and are determined, age then is just a number and no obstacle would be big enough to stop you.
