After delivering a stellar performance in Ketan Mehta's Manjhi-The Mountain Man, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is getting praise from top quarters as well.

Apparently, the actor has been flooded with congratulatory calls and messages. Even Salman Khan called him to share his views about the film.

However, the actor was surprised to receive messages from Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news, saying, “I am overwhelmed by the response I’m getting. It’s touching to see audiences accepting me as one of their own. Not just people from the industry, but political leaders like Kejriwalji and Nitish Kumarji also sent congratulatory messages. This has instilled confidence in me to do more good work.”
