Ali Abbas Zafar (Last directed Mere Brother Ki Dulhan; 2011)
The film was an average farer and is remembered for its music. Zafar has also worked as an assistant director on films like Tashan (2008), New York (2009) and Badmaash Company (2010).

Ali Abbas Zafar and Sanjay Masoom (additional dialogue)
Zafar made his debut as a screenwriter with Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Sanjay has contributed to the dialogue of several movies dating back to 1998, including films like Jannat (2008) and Krrish 3 (2013).

Sohail Sen
Peppy numbers like Tune maari entriyaan and Jashn-e-ishqa have stood out in this soundtrack that has received positive reviews across the board.

Because the film’s first promo didn’t have Priyanka in it, the actor was immediately placed in the centre of a controversy, which spun a few predictable headlines and was then forgotten.

Since they have Ranveer and his antics at their disposal, the makers clearly haven’t been trying too hard. The actor dresses absurdly, acts crazy and makes sure all heads turn. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be cutting it as there’s little excitement surrounding the release.

Our assessment
Heroes walking away from  exploding cars, high-speed shots of boys running who knows where, fighting, intense moments, dialogue that evokes unintended laughter and a talented actress who looks like she’s been wasted — what’s not to like? After all, you need to keep the mindless-action Salman Khan fans occupied too.

Film: Gunday
Cast: Arjun Kapoor (last seen in Aurangzeb; 2013) and Ranveer Singh (last seen in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela; 2013), Irrfan Khan (last seen in Qissa; 2013)

Storyline: The film tells the story of two refugees and inseparable friends, Bikram (Ranveer) and Bala (Arjun), who grow up in Kolkata in the ’70s and do everything as a team — they dance together, run in high-speed, become coal bandits and then they even fall in love with the same cabaret dancer, Nandita (Priyanka)
