R Madhavan bags a Hollywood project
So what if he does not have any Bollwood film in hand right now, R Madhavan has got his ticket to Hollywood from none other than Hollywood producer Simon West. The 43-year-old actor has landed a role in West’s next Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D.

The 43-year-old actor has landed a role in West’s next Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D and could be seen rubbing shoulders with veterans Tony Todds and Tom Sizemore as well as the other starcast including Danielle Harris, Sarah Habel , Bill Moseley and Joseph Pilato.
Madhavan who last appeared in the box office dud Jodi Breakers in 2012 is super excited about this film. “It's a great introduction to American Cinema, working with Simon West and his team. He's made and continues to make some of the most exciting and thrilling films out of Hollywood. I am honored to be working alongside him. I am also thrilled to be in this 3D re-imagining of the cult-classic Night of The Living Dead.”
The story of the film revolves around a group of survivors fighting to stay alive when a mysterious plague unleashes the undead on New York City.
Producer Simon West of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Con Air and Black Hawk Down fame said, “This movie represents a whole new way of visualizing the classic zombie genre. It has a fresh and exciting style that sets it apart from all other horror films seen up until now. R. Madhavan is a dynamic talent and we are happy to work with him.”
