R Madhavan seems to be taking his role of a coach from Saala Khadoos (2016) a little too seriously these days. Inspired by his reel character of a boxing coach in the above mentioned inspirational film, Madhavan has now decided to be a real life swim coach of his son Vedaant who is a state-level swimmer.

Interestingly, the talented actor who is a good swimmer himself is elated that his son, Vedaant has created a mark for himself in swimming at the state level. He has now decided to give him swimming lessons during his free time.

A source reveals, “Recently, Madhavan took to Twitter to talk about his son’s achievement. The proud father was ecstatic as his son, who had taken part in a swimming competition, had completed a four km swimathon in 57 minutes. The 12-year-old is extremely enthusiastic about swimming and has been training since the past couple of years. He has now graduated to taking part in state level competitions. Madhavan is very close to his son and wants to focus on his swimming. He will accordingly take time out from his busy shoot schedules to impart swimming lessons to his son.”
