New posters of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Raees, are out. The actor took to Twitter to share two posters from his forthcoming film on Thursday. And from the look of it, the film certainly looks and feels very different from his last film, Happy New Year.

Shah Rukh sports a tough look here; he plays a gangster based in Gujarat. Raees is a crime thriller about a bootlegger whose business is seriously challenged and eventually thwarted by a tough cop.

In one of the posters, we see a close up of a spectacled and bearded SRK, in what looks like '70s style glasses. In another picture, we see SRK seated in a godown, some kind of warehouse, with liquor cartons and bottles everywhere. Don't miss the catchline: Baniye Ka Dimaag Aur Miyanbhai Ki Daring.

Raees is an Excel Entertainment production and is being directed by Rahul Dholakia. Pakistani actor Mahira Khan makes her Bollywood debut with Raees and will be seen as the female lead in the film. Mahira, best known for her performance in Pakistani film Bol (2011), was seen in Pak TV series Humsafar (aired on Zindagi channel in India in 2014).

The action thriller also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an important role. Raees is expected to release on Eid 2016.
