The makers of an upcoming Sunny Leone-starrer had to make several rounds of the offices of the CBFC (Censor Board of Film Certification) as the promo of a song to be aired on TV was apparently too hot to air. Sunny and debutant Sahil Prem feature in a lovemaking scene in the number, Maine khud ko.
An insider from the production house reveals, “The Censor Board thought it was too steamy. After making the necessary cuts, the promo was finally cleared for TV audiences on Wednesday (March 12) and should go on air today (March 14).”
In comparison to the film’s other songs, Baby doll and Chaar botal vodka, this one took the longest time for approval. “The Censor Board took two-three weeks to pass it,” says the source. The uncensored version of the song, however, will be available on the Internet on the same day as the edited version goes on air.
Tanuj Garg, spokesperson of the production house making the film, says, “It is true that the song took long to censor. Several changes had to be made to the video. The original version, however, will be available online.”
