Seems like Ram Gopal Varma has decided to stop traumatizing audiences, and we'r not talking of his 'Aag'. The thriller specialist director is now all set to make his next film Department based on the lives of encounter cops, yet another action flick bubbling under.

Varma is believed to be casting Sanjay Dutt to play sub-inspector Daya Nayak and Abhishek Bachchan for DCP of ATS Pradeep Sawant's role.

The film once again raises the question of the relationship between the police and the underworld but in this film it is supposed to be done in a more real and detailed manner, a source told the Mumbai Mirror. The film is supposed to show the formation of the Ram Gopal Varmaencounter squad and look into the lives of encounter cops, their friendships and rivalries, the source added.

Both the actors are believed to have been finalized and the formalities are completed. Dutt, who last did Daud with Varma will be working with the director after a gap of ten years.
