A couple of weeks ago, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were spotted having dinner with the entire Kapoor clan, including his grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, at a Mumbai restaurant. Buzz was that the alleged couple’s wedding was one of the hot topics at the table.
Now, if sources are to be believed, Ranbir and Katrina are indeed set to get married. A source close to the Kapoors spills the beans, saying that the family is gearing up to make their relationship official.

"The family is planning to host a special function by the end of the month to solemnise Ranbir and Katrina’s relationship. It will be a hush-hush affair, with only family and a few friends in attendance, though it’s not clear whether it will be an engagement, or a roka (a Punjabi tradition wherein a relationship is formalised)," says the source, adding, "They decided on the end of May, as Ranbir will be free after the release of Bombay Velvet, and Katrina will also be back from Cannes. Plus, it will give the family time to plan the function."
Ranbir, however, continues to deny the buzz. In a recent interview, Ranbir reportedly shot down rumours of an impending wedding, saying that while he believes in the institution and has a lot of expectation from his wedding day, he has decided when he would be getting married.

In a recent interview with HT, when Katrina was asked about her marriage plans with Ranbir, she said, "When I plan to (get married), you’ll know beforehand. And it’s okay if it causes a circus, because no one means any harm." Ranbir had said, "When it comes to wedding, speculation spoils the fun."
