After dancing with father Rishi Kapoor at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards last year, Ranbir Kapoor will now share the stage with his mother, Neetu Singh, at the Colors Screen Awards. This will be the first time the mother-son duo will perform together.
A source says, “Ranbir and Neetu will dance to the hit song ‘Parda hai parda’ from Amar Akbar Anthony (1977). In the film, the popular qawwali track was picturised on Rishi and Neetu, so it will be interesting to see Ranbir and Neetu bring alive the magic of the song.”
Geeta Kapoor, who has choreographed the number, is equally excited about working with the veteran actor and her son. “Ranbir and his mom share a great bond and watching them together on stage will be entertaining. Apparently, Rishi and Neetu were supposed to accompany Ranbir on the world tour he went on a few years ago. Audiences were looking forward to watching them together back then, and now they will finally get a chance to do so,” says the source.
Ranbir will be seen alongside Rishi and Neetu for the first time, in his upcoming film Besharam.
