In a social media post that is rare coming from a celebrity, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda shared pictures of himself with a 15-day-old calf and a few cows, announcing that they are up for sale.
Randeep shared the pictures on his Facebook account and wrote, “15day old vava at my friend #JayantMulay’s farm called #Ashwavan. He has beautiful #Sahiwal cows, best milk money can buy.”
Now that’s a touch of reality that is hard to find in people living in the limelight. Cute move, Randeep!
Now, the closest move we have ever seen any Bollywood make is that time when Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared pictures of himself farming in Budhna (Uttar Pradesh) - his home village. He even promoted Budhna’s new irrigation systems while on holiday there in October 2015. Talking to Hindustan Times, Nawaz said, “I have done farming for 20 years of my life. Whenever I get time, I take it up. It’s our ancestral occupation. It gives me a lot of pleasure.”
Randeep, however, is known to have better camaraderie with animals than humans! He earlier told Hindustan Times, “The only place I enjoy is the race course, with my horses. That’s my time away from everything human.” This, however, is the first time he is sharing similar love with cows.
