The first look of Raveena Tandon's "friendly appearance" in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet is out.
The photo shows Raveena performing on stage and was shared on Twitter on Wednesday. Raveena plays a jazz singer in the film.
Directed and co-produced by Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is based on historian Gyan Prakash's Mumbai Fables and is the story of how the city became a metropolis against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and jazz music.
Raveena Tandon, who has earlier worked with Anurag in Shool (the filmmaker wrote the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer), has said she has a "friendly appearance" in Bombay Velvet.
Earlier, talking about her part in the movie, Raveena had said that playing a jazz singer excited her. "Plus, it will be all the more fun because Karan Johar is playing the villain," she said.
Bombay Velvet, that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar and Kay Kay Menon, is all set to hit theatres on May 15.
