Seems like RGV's ambitious project on the cold-blooded murder of Neeraj Grover, Not A Love Story, might not see the light of the day. Buzz is that Grover's family is upset with the director for his insensitivity.
Neeraj Kumar was brutally murdered by his ex-girlfriend Maria Monica Susairaj and her navy lieutenant boyfriend Emile Jerome on May 6, 2008. While his parents are still recovering from the shock of the gruesome death of their son, they were shocked to hear that the director is trying to cash in on the death by making a movie out of it.
Neeraj's mother, became aware of this under production film only when her son's friends called her up.
Grover's mother Mrs Neelam Grover expressed utter misery about the news, "Pray, why is Varma doing this? "This is simply harassment. My husband (Mr Amarnath Grover) and I are old and deeply grieved. Ramu ko bilkul aisa nahin karna chahiye," she added. Lekin dekha jaye to hum kar bhi kya sakte hain? Kisko kahein aur kya kahein? Hum to toot chuke hain," reports Mumbai Mirror.Neeraj's elder sister Shikha told the tabloid, "Well, Ramu has not even taken our permission on making a film on what happened with my brother. We want to forget it and he is still rubbing it in. Can something be done to stop this film from being made? Can anybody please help us in this regard?"
RGV chose to stay mum on the issue.
