Kalki Koechlin has two back to back releases scheduled. Jia Aur Jia and Ribbon are releasing with a week’s gap in between. Ribbon will hit the screens on November 3, 2017.

On Thursday, the makers of Ribbon released the trailer of the film which has Sumeet Vyas and Kalki in the lead roles. Thanks to TVF’s web series, Permanent Housemates and Tripling, Sumeet Vyas is already a very familiar face to the viewers.

Ribbon, which actually symbolises entangled relationships, is about a young couple that’s celebrating the birth of their child. Both are under pressure in their jobs and finding it hard to cope with challenges. Stress and insecurities are tearing up their relationship. Will they be able to save it?

Directed by Rakhee Sandilya, the 2:22-minute trailer brings out the dilemma of a nuclear family. In an earlier interview with IANS, Sumeet Vyas said, “I am really excited to work with Kalki. I think Ribbon is going to be an important film of its time. I hope I’m able to do justice to my director Rakhee Sandilya’s vision.”
