While Richa Chadda has proven her mettle as an actor in films like Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Fukrey, not many know that she is a passionate photographer too. The actor says that she has loved photography since her childhood and of late, she has devoted more time towards pursuing her hobby.
Although she admits she’s yet to perfect the skill, Richa insists on staying away from digital cameras and using film cameras instead. She has even attended lectures on photography and has been actively devoting time to it since the past six years. “When I was studying media, we had lectures on photography. I am very interested in it, and have also bought a film SLR camera. This has been my hobby for the past six years,” says the actor.
“While everybody nowadays uses digital cameras, I click pictures with film cameras,” says Richa, who finds it difficult to make time for photography while shooting for films. She adds, “It’s difficult to carry lenses. I click pictures whenever I get free time.”
