Despite attempts to save the viewers from the ongoing cash chaos in the country, the crew of Rock On 2 has failed to leave a mark at the ticket counter. The makers had decided to let go of the convenience fees if the audience wanted to book the tickets through credit or debit cards.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted about the film’s first day business figures. Rock On 2 has made Rs 2.02 crore on its opening day.

Rock On 2 is a sequel to 2008 film Rock On, which was the story of four ambitious youngsters who wanted to make it big in the world of music.
In the new film, they have grown up, but their friendship is still intact. They are leading a mundane life, and that prompts them to go for another musical collaboration.
Shujaat Saudagar has replaced Abhishek Kapoor as the director of the sequel. The old cast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai has been retained. Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora have been included in the new team.
The film is battling it out with Punjabi animation film, Chaar Sahibzaade 2 at the box office.
