Jaipur girl, Rozlyn Khan who was recently in the news for dedicating a video to the Bachchans, will be soon seen in a Bollywood film. The movie, Dhama Choukdi, is a comedy that features stars like Sanjay Mishra and Mukesh Tiwari. Rozlyn says, “I was lucky to have been selected for the film. I was rejected at first, but a week later, I was called and asked to give more screen tests. Only then was I finalised for the lead role.” Rozlyn plays the role of a struggling actor in the film, which is slated to release around the end of the year. “I didn’t come to Mumbai with the intention of making it in Bollywood. It was by chance that the opportunity fell onto my lap, and I grabbed it,” she says.

Although it’s been two months since the video was made, Rozlyn has been still unable to hand it over to the Bachchans. “I only hope they know that such a video has been dedicated to them. I have done every possible effort to meet Abhishek Bachchan,” rues Rozlyn. “I also hope Aishwarya Rai Bachchan delivers twins. Then a big gift awaits them.”

And how true is Rozlyn’s claim that Rs 10 lakh was spent to produce the video? “Yes, I spent approximately Rs 10 lakh on it. The folk song required a lot of dancers, crowd, expensive lighting and a lavish set. Although I come from a rich family, my money is hard-earned. I did the video for the love of Abhi-Ash,” she says, adding, “I didn’t do all this for publicity. I also do a lot of charity work which goes unnoticed, because unknown people are the recipients of this money.”
